Well there is nothing that compares to the peace one can find while spending time with a good horse.
My horse Blue is nothing short of wonderful. He at this point in my life may have been my saving grace. He came along needing the same thing as me - a friend.
I am very blessed in my life with a wonderful husband and great friends but there is nothing like my horse. He provides me with the quiet ride I need to clear my mind from a bad day. He gives me the soft neck that I can bury my head in and cry. He gives me that look with those beautiful eyes that just says "it's ok" He is tolerant of my goofy behavior and ideas. He is playful and fun when he relaxes and he is always agreeable and nods his head when you talk to him. He doesn't ask for much in return but love. He and I have become very close in the short time we have been together.
I am so lucky to have such a wonderful horse to also call my friend.
