Resources

Here are some of the different resources I use.

Bibles I Use:

This is the Chronological Study Bible.  It is the New King James Version.  I like it alot.  I has neat side notes and timelines.

I like this bible a lot too!  It was a gift from a secret supporter at work.  I am a pretty science based thinker and the different archaeological discoveries that support the bible are really wonderful to read.  It brings it to life!

This bible I keep in my car in case I'm stuck somewhere.  I like it a lot and it has nice insights that help explain why things like 150 generations of geneology is important to know.  It's a handy little portable  bible.

This was a gift from my husbands Aunt and Uncle for our wedding.  I did not treasure this when I received it but 8 years later I'm thrilled to have it.

Another resource that is a handy to-go bible. It seems none of the Chronological bibles follow the website plan exactly...which is frusterating.  It doesn't have any insights just strictly the bible chronologically.  It would be great for those that don't like or want the insights.

This was my 50% off purchase when my local Borders store was closing.  While it is a pretty bible it's purple leather back with silver lining.  I don't like some of the side notes/insights to it.  It seems a little slanted to say that it was just a happy accident that some of the women like Deborah or Jael had the role in the bible that they did.  I prefer to think that God intended for them to act the way they did and to lead as they did.
I still read this bible and use it because it feels to to the touch but I doubt it will be my "go-to" bible.
